Friday Favorites

You Scream,
I Scream,
We All Scream,
FRIDAY!

I'm back to linking up with Erika and Shay for a round of Friday Favorites!

For whatever reason I thought Election day would be a great day to schedule an
18month well visit and Flu Shots for the girls.
Yikes I know!
However they both did AWESOME!
So I reward (okay I promised if they did good) I would take them to our local Bubblecake Shop
to get cupcakes!
I feel like I was the real winner though, I made them get mini cupcakes!
These sisters both got the Tiffany Cupcake.
We are thankful Tensley's bestie was able to meet us there too!

                                            Ives Dress                                                                           Quincy Dress
How cute are these Holiday Dress.
The floral is great for parties or family gatherings, plus POCKETS!
The black one though is my favorite, I love the untraditional look it gives to Little Black Dresses

                                        Diedre Sweatshirt                                                                Alliyah Sweatshirt
Now these sweatshirts are some that I need.
(David has given me the look one too many times in my raddy old ones, guess I need to retire them to house only!)
These both are right up my ally.
Perfect for jeans.
Perfect for gym clothes.
Perfect for my LuLaRoe leggings
Just a perfect sweatshirt.
Now how to convince David I need both!

This past weekend we all went down to see the Veteran's Parade.
You can read all about that post here
It was such a great family event!

Happiest of Veteran's Day to all the men & women who Have, who Are, and who Will serve our country!

This is my absolutely my favorite snack.
I have been a fan of Pretzel Crisps for awhile now, I typically get the Buffalo Wing flavored (dipped in some humus is also my jam!)
For a couple of months now our local Kroger has these in milk and dark chocolate.
Y'all I CANNOT get enough!
If they are in stock I buy them.
I do not share them.
Yes, I do try to hide them from myself up on the top shelf of one of my cabinets.
Yes I sneak a few during quiet time and in the evenings.
Right now I'm thankful I limit myself to 1 bag.
Kroger please don't ever make these a 2 for $5.00 Deal, because I will not have the self control!

Today starts the first day of the STOCKED MARKET
Its a great way to see different vendors throughout our area.
Local friends, you can still get your tickets.
Find them here and just put my name in the Junior League Member spot!
We have 40 NEW vendors this year.
Also Saturday is Local Vendor Day!

Catch Up Thursday || Veteran's Parade

This past Saturday our hometown did their annual Veteran's Day Parade.
Due to our schedules we are typically not able to attend this parade, so when I saw that it was on the schedule for appearance for Tensley we were all really excited.

It was just the girls and I, David was actually working this weekend.
We truly missed him. Though I made sure to try and snap as many pictures as I could so it didn't seem like he missed anything.

It was chilly when we first arrived, Mr. Terry was prepared with blankets and hot cider for the Miss Roanoke Valley girls, his grandsons, and his Dad (The Korea Veteran that was being honored!)

Tensley's Dress & Boots | My shirt (from local discount store, Hamricks) and Jeans
So proud of this girl and so blessed to be her mama.

This girl hit the candy jackpot during the parade.
She also danced her heart out when we let her sit on the sidewalk instead of in the stroller.

Salem High School Band

Clearly Parades, skittles, and American Flags are her JAM!

VMI Pipe Band

Here comes the girls!

Miss. Virginia Outstanding Teen.
Miss. Roanoke Valley Princess.
Miss. Roanoke Valley.
Mr. Terry and His dad.

Thank you to all of our men and women who are and who have served our country.
We are so thankful and truly appreciate you.
Thank you Roanoke Valley for putting on this parade!
